Under Nineteen: Where Are They Now?
Under Nineteen (언더나인틴) was a survival show aired on MBC on November 3, 2018 presented by Kim Sohyun. The show consisted of 57 contestants split into Rap, Vocal and Perfomance Team. The final lineup was announced on February 14, 2019 with 9 member`s group name was called 1THE9 managed under Pocketdol Studio and would promote for a year. The group disbanded on August 8, 2020 and now it has been 5 year`s since Under Nineteen ended.

Rank-1 (Debut) – Jeon Doyum
— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— He returned to Kakao M after finishing his 1THE9 activities.
— Kakao M would later establish a brand new label, Bluedot Entertainment, where he was part of a pre-debut group Bluedot Boys (formerly PlayM Boys/FAVE Boys).
— He debuted in the boy group JUST B under the stage name DY on June 30, 2021 with mini album JUST BURN.
— It was announced on June 26, 2024, by IST Entertainment that he along with all of Just B member’s and another group from same label would be formed into a project group called The CrewOne.
Rank-2 (Debut) – Jung Jinsung
— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After finishing 1THE9 activities on November 16, 2020, his contract with PlayM Entertainment expired so he left with Lee Seungwan, and at the end of 2020, he deleted his Instagram.
— In February of 2021 he graduated and decided to give up on his idol career he is now living a private life.
— After 3 years he opened Instagram and is regularly posting there.

— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After ending 1THE9 activities he left A team, it`s unclear when.
— On December 24, 2021 he was revealed in a teaser video for a first boy group under Keystone Entertainment.
— He officially debuted in the boy group BLANK2Y under the stage name Louis on May 24, 2022 with mini album K2Y I: CONFIDENCE [Thumbs Up].
— On June 27, 2023, it was announced that he, had terminated his exclusive contracts with Keystone Entertainment after an in-depth discussion with the agency.
— On August 16, 2023, it was announced that he, have signed with DS Entertainment, where later on October 24, 2023 he is part of group’s lineup DV.OL.
— He will debuted in boy group DV.OL on December 24, 2023 with their first EP Dreaming About Our Life due to due to health issues, it was delayed to 2024.
Rank-4 (Debut) – Shin Yechan
— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After finishing 1THE9 activities he left TOP Media, but there’s no information regarding the date he left.
— On March 17, 2021 he was featured in a mysterious teaser video for a first boy group OMEGA X under Spire Entertainment.
— He debuted in OMEGA X on June 30, 2021 with mini album VAMOS.
— Group left their previous label after winning lawsuit against abuse by Spire Entertainment, later on July 3, 2023 IPQ announced that they signed an exclusive contract with OMEGA X as their first artist.
— He is still promoting with the group.

— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After finishing 1THE9 activities looks like he’s still under Management Air and he appeared in the drama “Racket Boys” in a recurring role and he’s active on his Instagram. So he probably gave up on his idol life but there’s still no information about that.

— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After ending 1THE9 activities, he returned to his label with Kim Junseo and was part of pre-debut group OUI BOYZ.
— He debuted in OUI Entertainment boy group WEi on October 5, 2020 with mini album IDENTITY : First Sight.
Rank-7 (Debut) – Lee Seunghwan
— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After finishing 1THE9 activities on November 16, 2020, his contract with PlayM Entertainment expired and he left with Jung Jinsung.
— He was a contestant on the show LOUD created by JYP and PSY, but was eliminated in the first round and he regularly posted on social media. He was spotted as backup dancer during ONEUS’ 2022 US Tour.

— On August 29, 2023, it was revealed he signed under Inyeon Entertainment as their new artist.
— He made his solo release on September 9, 2023 with the digital single “Be With You!”.
— He made his official debut as soloist on November 27, 2023 with his first mini album Switch On under his stage name ONLEE.

— After finishing 1THE9 activities he left A team, but is unsure when.
— On December 10, 2020 it was announced that Rain would debut a first boy group with Sungwon in it.
— He debuted in the boy group Ciipher under the stage name Won on March 15, 2021 under Rain Company with mini album안꿀려 (I like you).
— On August 9, 2023, Rain Company announced that he, along with his other member’s have decided to leave the group.
— He opened social media and is regularly posting.
— He made his solo debut on December 4, 2023 with the digital single “Even If It’s a Lie”.
Rank-9 (Debut) – Kim Junseo
— He debuted in show’s final lineup, 1THE9 until group’s disbandment.
— After ending 1THE9 activities he returned to his label with Yoo Yongha and was part of pre-debut group OUI BOYZ.
— He also debuted in OUI Entertainment boy group WEi on October 5, 2020 with the mini album IDENTITY : First Sight.
Rank-10 (Final Round) – Kim Shihyun
— He returned to his label Choon Entertainment and later debuted in boy group WE IN THE ZONE under on May 27, 2019 with mini album We In The Zone.
— WE IN THE ZONE silently disbanded on January 15, 2021 after member Kyungheon shared the group had terminated their contracts.
— Shiyun said he gave up on his idol life and kept posting regularly on his Instagram.

— It appears he is still under Histar Media with Lee Dongjoon.
— He deleted his Instagram account.
Rank-12 (Final Round) – Kim Youngwon
— After the show he debuted as a soloist under Maxxam Entertainment on July 19, 2019 with the title “Tanghulu“.
— He was regularly posting on social media but later deleted it.
— He left Maxxam Entertainment and later signed under Universal Music Korea where he is scheduled to debut in company new boy group ODD ONE OUT it appears that group later disbanded silently.
— He is regularly posting on his Instagram.
Rank-13 (Final Round) – Lee Sangmin
— He returned to DSP Media and was part of it’s pre-debut group DSP N.
— He debuted in the boy group MIRAE with Park Siyoung under the stage name Khael on March 17, 2021 with mini album KILLA.
— The group disbanded on July 9, 2024, where he terminated his contract with the company.
Rank-14 (Final Round) – Song Byeonghee
— He returned to his label and was part of a PlayM Boys but was moved to Bluedot Entertainment.
— He debuted in boy group JUST B with Jeon Doyum under the stage name Bain on June 30, 2021 with mini album Just Burn.

— The pre-debut group released song “GEEK” on September 17, 2022.
— He debuted in the boy group xikers on March 30, 2023 with mini album “House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing”.
Rank-16 (Final Round) – Bae Hyeonjun
— He is still under MAJOR9 as an actor and has acted in the drama “Fly Again” he is consistent on his Instagram.
Rank-17 (Final Round) – Lee Joungwoon
— He returned to Cube Entertainment but it appears he left the label since he was removed from company`s posts on CUBE TREE.
— Nothing has been heard from him.

— He returned to DSP Media as part of “DSP N”.
— He debuted with Lee Sangmin in the boy group MIRAE on March 17, 2021 with mini album KILLA.

— He debuted in a group NINE.i on March 30, 2022 under the stage name Vahn with the mini album NEW WORLD.

— He returned to DSP Media and was a trainee there where was training with MIRAE members but later left the lineup it’s uncertain when he left pre-debut.
— He signed under Yue Hua Entertainment and debuted in the boy group TEMPEST on March 2, 2022 under the stage name Hwarang with the mini album It’s ME, It’s WE.
— On March 6, 2024, Yue Hua Entertainment announced that Hwarang would halt activities with the group for a second time due to a lack of trust between both parties.
— He officially left the group on August 11, 2024 after terminating his contract with Yuehua Entertainment.
Rank-33 (Round 3) – Min
— He signed under WAKEONE Entertainment as a trainee.
— On December 29, 2022, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet’s survival show Boys Planet as WAKEONE trainee.

He was then officially introduced as a member through his cover of “Dolphin” by OH MY GIRL on March 7, but later it was presumed they had disbanded as the group went silent on SNS since mid-2021.
— He signed under WEUS Entertainment where he was reveleaded as part of the company’s first boy group WEUS.
— He debuted in boy group WEUS on on April 3, 2023 with the single album “Purple Sky“.

— On April 28, 2023, an exclusive report by News1 revealed that he had filed an injunction against PocketDol Studio to suspend his exclusive contract due to differing views with the agency regarding how they fulfilled their obligations of the contract.
— On June 23, 2023, he announced that he has won his lawsuit to suspend his exclusive contract with PocketDol Studio, which revealed his subsequent departure from BAE173.
