MAKEMATE1 (also known as MA1, 메이크메이트원) is a South Korean survival show by KBS and MAKESTAR. 34 Independent male trainees of various nationalities compete against each other with the aim to create a global boy group. The show premiered on May 15th, 2024, and airs every Wednesday at 10:10PM KST on KBS World. The final group is set to be managed by MAKESTAR and will consist of 6-9 members. They will promote for an indefinite amount of time, depending on the group’s performance.
