UNVS (유니버스) is a five-member boy group under CHITWN Music, made up of members Jun H., YY, Eunho, Changgyu, and Jen. Originally known as Universe (世界少年/ 유니버스), the group debuted in Taiwan on December 21, 2016, with the digital single “UNI-verse” under Media Asia Music and UNI Entertainment. This made them the first Korean idol group to officially make their debut in Taiwan. They promoted in Taiwan for three months before returning to Korea, and in 2019, two of the members joined FD Entertainment and rebranded as UNVS with three additional members. Their official South Korean debut took place on February 23, 2020, under CHITWN Music with the single “Timeless”. As of November 2022, UNVS has silently gone on an indefinite hiatus.
Group Name Meaning: Short for “Universe”, which is a blend for “unique” and “verse”.

Fandom Name Meaning: In Latin, the letter “V” can be used as a “U”, so by replacing the “V” with “U in the group name it turns into “UNUS,” which stands for “YOU & US”.
