Synopsis:
Lee Dong-Wook plays Lee Yeon who was once the mountain spirit of Baekdudaegan. A story of eternal love, he sacrifices his life as a mountain god to resurrect A Eum, the human woman he fell in love with who dies unexpectedly. Living his life as a nine-tailed fox (a legendary creature who seduces the innocent in order to satisfy their craving for human flesh.) in human form he has lived this way for hundreds of years.
Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), is a producer for a TV show that investigates myths and ghost stories. When Ji Ah comes across Lee Yeon, she sees an irresistibly handsome and incredibly intelligent man on the surface. However, she is convinced there’s more to him than meets the eye and keeps a close watch on him. Fully aware that Ji Ah is tracking him, Lee Yeon does little to further arouse her suspicion; but when his blood-thirsty step-brother, Lee Rang (Kim Bum) shows up, things get a bit more complicated. Will Lee Yeon be able to save both himself and Ji Ah from the wrath of his vengeful brother, the fates themselves, and a more dangerous villain Imoogi (Lee Tae Ri)?
