SIXTEEN (JYP): Where Are They Now?
It’s been 6 years since the survival show SIXTEEN with JYP has ended and created the girl group TWICE as we’ve grown to know and love but let’s catch up with the eliminated trainees and see what they’ve been up to nowadays.

10th – Minyoung
Minyoung left JYP after Sixteen ended, and debuted as a soloist under the name myssong with the digital single “MIDNIGHT” on October 19, 2021.

11th – Somi
After Sixteen, Somi competed as a trainee under JYP on Produce 101 Season 1 where she placed first and became apart of I.O.I who only promoted for 10 months. After I.O.I promotions, Somi signed a solo contract with JYP to be on variety shows such as Unnie’s Slam Dunk and Idol Operation Drama Team’sGirl’s Next Doorwhere she debuted two more times. She left JYP in August of 2018 and is now under The Black Label. Somi debuted as a soloist with the digital single “Birthday” on June 13, 2019.

12th – Natty
After Sixteen, Natty left JYP and she appeared on Mnet’s new survival show “Idol School” in 2017. She made it to the last round in Idol School but unfortunately did not debut, she placed 13th. Natty debuted as a soloist on May 7, 2020 with the single “Nineteen” under Swing Entertainment.

13th – Chaeryeong
After Sixteen, Chaeryeong appeared on Stray Kids’ survival show with the Girl’s Debut Team. She debuted with ITZY  in February of 2019. She is the only Sixteen contestant who didn’t debut with TWICE that is still under JYP.

14th – Jiwon
Jiwon left JYP after Sixteen ended and she joined Mnet’s survival show with Natty called “Idol School” in 2017. She placed 6th overall in “Idol School” and debuted with fromis_9.

15th – Eunsuh
Eunsuh left JYP and also joined Mnet’s “Idol School” in 2017 alongside Natty and Jiwon but did not debut. She placed 14th. There has been no further information on what she is doing currently but she sometimes posts on her Instagram.

16th – Chaeyeon
Chaeyeon left JYP and became a trainee for WM Entertainment. She appeared on Mnet’s Produce 48 in 2018 and placed 12th then debuted with IZ*ONE. After IZ*ONE promotions, she was set to debut in WM’s New Girl Group sometime soon.
