Show Me The Money 9: Producer Teams
Show Me The Money: Season 9 (쇼미더머니9) is a South Korean rap competition produced by Mnet Entertainment. This season consists of 4 producing teams: Zion.T & Giriboy, CODE KUNST & Paloalto, Dynamic Duo & BewhY, and Justhis & GroovyRoom. The contestants are fighting for the “Young Boss” title, premium sports car, and ₩100,000,000. Auditions were open July 20th-August 21st, 2020 with the most candidates in SMTM’s history (around 23k). The first episode of Season 9 aired on October 16, 2020, and the last aired on December 4, 2020.

— They were revealed as the first team on August 18, 2020.
— Giriboy was previously a contestant in SMTM3 that aired in 2014. He was a producer in SMTM777 for the team “Just Music” winning with Nafla and in SMTM8 in “BGM-v Crew” winning again with Punchnello.
— Zion.T was a producer in SMTM5 with Kush in “Team YG”. None of the artists in his team won.
— Giriboy feels honored that he’s doing this season with Zion.T
— Zion.T’s plan is to eliminate anyone who is lacking.
— Most contestants wanted to get judged by Giriboy because he is laid-back.
— Their team won with contestant Lil Boi.

— Together, they were producers in SMTM777 in team “CODEPALO”. None of the artists in their team won.
— Paloalto was also a producer in SMTM4 with Zico for team “ZiPal”. None of the artists in his team won.
DAWAI (Dynamic Duo X BewhY)

— They were revealed as the third team on August 18, 2020.
— Dynamic Duo were producers in SMTM6 for the team “4Duo”. None of the artists in their team won.
— BewhY was a contestant in SMTM4 but didn’t win. He decided to try again and won SMTM5. He was a producer in SMTM8 for the team “BGM-v Crew” winning with Punchnello.
GULJEOT (JUSTHIS X Groovyroom)

GULJEOT Team Facts:
— They were revealed as the fourth and last team on August 18, 2020.
— JUSTHIS performed in SMTM777 with Kid Milli and SMTM8 with EK.
— Groovyroom will appear on Show Me The Money for the first time.
— Groovyroom was told that JUSTHIS will be their teammate. That’s why they decided to join the show.
— In the evaluation round contestants thought that JUSTHIS is scary because of his gaze.
— JUSTHIS goal is to show cool hip-hop on TV.
