THE9 (also stylized as THENINE) was a Chinese project girl group formed by the top nine members from the survival show Youth With You 2 by iQIYI on May 30, 2020. The group was managed by Idol Youth Entertainment and consisted of XIN Liu, Esther Yu, Kiki Xu, Yan Yu, Shaking, Babymonster An, Xiaotang Zhao, Snow Kong, and K Lu. They debuted with the album “Sphinx X Mystery” on August 10, 2020, and released the MV for the title song “Sphinx” on August 15, 2020. They disbanded on December 6, 2021.
