ROMEO (로미오) was a South Korean boy group consisting of 6 members: Seunghwan, Yunsung, Minsung, Kyle, Hyunkyung and Kangmin. Milo left the group in 2018. They debuted on May 7, 2015, with their first EP The ROMEO under CT Entertainment and Pony Canyon. In 2016 CT Entertainment was acquired by Hunus Entertainment, who also took over Romeo’s management. The group silently disbanded in late 2019. In 2022, Seunghwan and Kyle promoted as the sub-unit ROMEO S&J, and in 2023 Romeo reunited as 4 members (Seunghwan, Kyle, Hyunkyung and Kangmin) on JTBC’s survival show PEAK TIME as Team 16:00, but unfortunately didn’t pass the preliminary round.
Group Name Meaning: They want to be everyone’s first love, like Romeo was to Juliet in the original love story.
