NCT Universe : LASTART is a survival show from SM Entertainment. The show introduced the possible new members of a brand-new NCT unit, which will mark the final chapter of NCT’s expansion. The program name “NCT Universe: LASTART” is a combination of LAST and START, which means the end of NCT’s infinite expansion and the start of a new team. There is a total of 10 trainees and 4 of them were chosen in the final lineup. 11th Trainee Daeyoung was added to the trainees lineup because the show needed more vocalists. The trainees consist of: Riku, Ryo, Haruta, Kassho, Anderson, Jungmin, Ryu, Sakuya, Minjae, Heitetsu and Daeyoung. The chosen members joined Sion and Yushi who are already set to debut in the new group. The show started on July 27, 2023. It was broadcasted on ENA and TVING in Korea, KOCOWA+ in the USA, and Hulu and Nippon TV in Japan.
