Debut’s Plan : NewKids (데뷔스 플랜) is a South Korean survival show produced by STARSHIP Entertainment, featuring 21 contestants. The show is scheduled to air on YouTube, starting from its premiere on March 14th, 2025, at 9:30 PM (KST). The final group NewKids will consist of 7 members and will be managed by STARSHIP Entertainment.
Show Premise:
– Debut’s Plan is structured around five stages, known as “PLANS.” PLAN 1 to PLAN 3 follow a 2:1 battle format, where two groups compete per song. PLAN 4 and PLAN 5 shift to a 1:1 battle format, focusing on individual performances.
– A total of 33 STARSHIP trainees underwent a rigorous 77-hour evaluation process, with the goal of selecting 21 members for the 2025 Debut Prep Group.
– The expected debut lineup consists of seven members, but if the selections of THE BOARD (STARSHIP Entertainment) and THE FANS differ, 8 to 14 trainees may advance to the final debut evaluation before the final decision is made.
– Voting occurs in three rounds, with results determined by a 1:1 weighted combination of Korean and global votes, alongside THE BOARD’s evaluation.
