— She was born in Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.

— While at ASH, Himeka and Suzuka performed as a duo called Tween.

— She debuted as an idol in 2008 with Karen Girl’s, a junior idol group which performed songs for Zettai Karen Children.
— The following year she debuted as an actress, playing Shioji in the musical Boukensha Tachi.
— The same year, she became an exclusive model for DiaDaisy, a fashion magazine for young girls.
— After Karen Girl’s disbandment in 2009, Suzuka became a founding member of Sakura Gakuin, a school-themed idol group for girls in junior high.
— She was chosen by producer “Kobametal” to be the leader and lead vocalist of Sakura Gakuin’s sub-unit/heavy metal club (Juuonbu) BABYMETAL, alongside Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno. BABYMETAL debuted at the Sakura Gakuin Festival 2010.
— She became Sakura Gakuin’s student council president (leader) in the 2012 nendo.
— She had a solo song called “Sakurairo no Avenue” on Sakura Gakuin 2012 Nendo: My Generation.
— In 2013, she graduated from Sakura Gakuin and BABYMETAL departed from SG and became its own group.
