INK Members Profile and Facts
INK (잉크) was a 7-member boy group that debuted on May 18, 1993 under Nices Popular. Originally consisting of members Lee Sangwon, Kim Yeonho, Ahn Woncheol, Hwang Chehui, Lee Manbok, Kim Geunsoo, and Lee Seonggyu, they debuted with the album No More Contaminated World…. The group’s musicality largely focused on break dancing, which was influenced by New Jack Swing and Rave. Despite having two hit songs from their two albums respectively, INK did not receive much popularity due to the heightened popularity of other idol groups such as Seo Taiji and Boys, Deux, and Noise. The reorganization of the group that resulted with members leaving, as well as new members added also contributed to INK quietly disbanding after the release of their 2nd and final album, Cinderella Complex in 1995.
