Big Ocean (빅오션) (formerly S-boyz and Big O!cean) is the first ever South Korean hard of hearing boy group under PARASTAR Entertainment. They want to create their own genre called S-Pop (sign language pop), where they ‘sing’ in Korean Sign Language (KSL), American Sign Language (ASL) and International Sign (IS). All members are hard of hearing, and use medical devices like cochlear implants and hearing aids. They debuted on April 20, 2024 with a remake of ‘Hope’ by H.O.T.
Group Name Meaning: The ocean is a place where people feel calm and peaceful. Big Ocean hopes to one day spread hope and positive energy.
