Synopsis:
In the future year of 2050, an organization was formed and called ALICE. Its purpose was to give people a way to travel in time and a parallel world. However, it wasn’t long before the “Book of Prophecy” was discovered which predicts an end to time travelers. ALICE sends Yoo Min Hyuk (Kwak Shi Yang) and Yoon Tae Yi (Kim Hee Sun) to 1992 In an attempt to prevent the book from falling into the wrong hands and with the hopes of preventing the prophecy from coming true. During this mission, Tae Yi realized she is pregnant with Min-hyuk’s child and decides to stay in 1992 in order to safely birth and raise their child. To keep herself and her son safe, she changes her name to Park Sun-young and hides from ALICE. ALICE eventually finds her and guns her down. Her son, Park Jin Gyum (Joo Won), grows up to become a successful detective in 2020. When his path crosses with the Yoon Tae Yi of this world, a physics professor specializing in quantum and temporal mechanics, he is shocked to see she looks exactly like his mother. This meeting starts their journey and they rediscover the Book of Prophecy and their search for answers. Meanwhile, Jin Gyum’s friend, Kim Do Yeon (Lee Da In), who also happens has a crush on Jin Gyum since high school. She is a reporter and is investigating a mysterious case involving strange drones, which leads her to Jin Gyum and Tae Yi.
