LOONA: Where Are They Now?
Most of the LOONA members had filed lawsuits to terminate their contracts with BlockBerry Creative due to mistreatment. On June 16th 2023, all the members of LOONA had been released from their exclusive contracts and were no longer under BlockBerry Creative, and on April 5th, 2025, the members’ contracts were completely terminated. Although they are all under different companies, LOONA is considered inactive and not disbanded. After three years, where are the LOONA members now?
HaSeul
Stage Name: HaSeul (하슬)

HaSeul Facts:
– On December 8th, 2016, Haseul was revealed as the third member of LOONA.
– Subsequently, her solo album ‘Haseul‘ was released on December 15th.
– HeeJin was revealed as a member of the first LOONA sub-unit LOONA 1/3, and debuted with “Love & Live” on March 13, 2017.
– She officially debuted as the leader of LOONA on August 19th, 2018, with their first mini album, ‘[+ +]’.
– After her debut, she had a hiatus, which spanned over a year and six months (January 8th 2020 – June 2nd 2021).
– On November 28th, Haseul filed an injunction to suspend her exclusive contracts with BlockBerryCreative.
– Being one of the members who lost her initial case, she won and had her contract with BlockBerry injuncted on June 16th 2023.
Where is HaSeul now?
– 4 days later, it was announced that she had signed a contract with MODHAUS and would be joining. ARTMS with JinSoul, Kim Lip, HeeJin, and Choerry.
– On the 26th of October, she made her solo debut with the single ‘Plastic Candy‘.
– She re-debuted in ARTMS under MODHAUS on May 31, 2024, with their first album, ‘<Dall>’.
– HaSeul released her second solo single, ‘Fragile Eyes’, on December 9, 2024.
ViVi

– ViVi was officially revealed as the fifth member of LOONA on April 5th, 2017.

– She was one of the two members who didn’t file for termination on November 25th, 2022
– She instead, alongside Hyunjin, filed to terminate her contract on February 3rd, 2023 and then subsequently won her case on May 9th, having her contract suspended.
Where is ViVi now?
In the following month, it was announced she had signed a contract with CTDENM.
– On July 29th, at a fan event, she and the rest of the five members at CTDENM announced they would redebut as Loossemble.
– They subsequently debuted on the 15th of September 2023, with their first mini album, Loossemble.
– Just a little over a year later, it was announced that Loossemble had left CTDENM.

– She was a part of LOONA’s final subunit, LOONA yyxy.
– With the release of ‘[+ +]’, she made her debut as a LOONA member.

It was revealed on the 13th of March, 2024, that Yves had signed a contract with PAIX PER MIL.

– In 2025, her EP ‘I DID’ was nominated at the Korean Music Awards for Best K-pop Album.
– She is now a full-time soloist and has collaborated with large Western artists, such as PinkPantheress.

JinSoul

– On January 13th 2023, it was revealed that JinSoul was one of the five members who had won their lawsuits against BBC.

– On March 17th, 2023, it was announced she had signed a contract with MODHAUS, founded by former LOONA creative director Jaden Jeong.
– Consequently, on April 1st, it had been released that JinSoul and her other 3 MODHAUS members would continue under the name ‘ARTMS‘.
– On July 12th, 2023, ODD EYE CIRCLE would make a comeback after 6 years, releasing their second mini album ‘<Version Up>’.

Kim Lip

– She lost her lawsuit against BBC because the court did not consider their contract to be sufficiently unreasonable, on January 13, 2023.

– She would debut as a member of Lossemble on September 5th, 2023.
