Rikimaru Chikada (近田力丸) is a Japanese dancer, choreographer, and singer currently active in China. He gained international attention after placing third on Produce Camp 2021, leading to his debut in the multinational boy group INTO1, which officially disbanded in April 2023. He was also the leader of the Japan-China project group WARPs UP, which has since become inactive. He made his solo debut on February 17, 2023, with the digital single “Up and Down”, which he co‑wrote and choreographed. He has since focused on his solo music career and continued activities as a choreographer, performer, and brand ambassador.

– He was born in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.
– His mother is a jazz dancer and studio owner, and his father was a professional baseball player and coach.
– He has a sister named Yumeri who is also a dancer. They work together in a studio @therespectjp.
– He started dancing when he was 4 years old.
– At age 9, he and his mother appeared and danced in the Japanese variety show named “Gakkō e Ikō“.
– He attended Itami Kita High School and later studied Brazilian and Portuguese Studies at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.
– In 2007, Rikimaru and his sister Yumeri formed the dance group named Respect.
– That same year, he won the KIDS MIX Best Dancer Award and the ALL KANKUU Dance Contest Excellent Performance Award.
– Their group Respect also won titles like Dance Olympics Champion, Dance Koshien Champion, and COMBOX Champion.
– He began teaching dance at age 13 and became a professional choreographer at 19.
– From 2012 to 2015, he went to Los Angeles (USA) to learn choreography, choreographing skills and interact with many dancers.
– During his time in LA, he joined ImmaBEAST, an American champion teen dance group, one of the top hip-hop dance groups in the USA.
