9-tie (pronounced as cutie) is a Japanese girl group from the SELECTION PROJECT anime. They debuted on October 27, 2021 with the songs “Glorious Days”, “Only one yell” and “SELECTION HEROINE”.
The group name is a portmanteau of the Japanese pronunciation of the number 9 (九/kyuu) and “tie”, representing the bond between the girls.
