Yo Girls (요걸스) was a project girl group debuted in July 15th, 2009 under S.O Entertainment. They consisted of 5 members: Yoo Kyung, Ah Reum, Hyun Seo, Ga-ae, Soo Rin. The group was formed through SBS Drama Plus and E!TV’s makeover program ‘Yo Girls Diary’ – a show where ordinary students and office workers get makeovers by professionals, compete in various challenges and win prizes. Among the six finalists, five debuted as a project group, excluding Kang Eun-young to focus on her studies.
