– He was born in the Yongsan district of Seoul.
– He attended Hobart Elementary School.
– He has an older sister. (B. 1972)
– He moved to the United States when he was in 5th grade and resided in LA.
– He was a part of a dance group in LA called D.K Boys along with Shinhwa members Shin Hyesung, Eric Mun and Andy.
– He worked several part-time jobs when he was in the states.
– A lot of students would come to see him while he was working.
– He sent in a tape to SM Entertainment after he saw an ad for an audition on the newspaper.
