As per usual, the Lovepat’s are protecting everyone’s love when they get a request from Chief Shingo of the International Police that are active around the world. It seems that the treasure the “Love Diamond” is being targeted. They won’t allow this lovely treasure to be taken by skilled phantom thieves.
But, Inspector Aikawa who is enthusiastic about the security is turned into a Love Zero by the Warupyoco Dan! Moreover, while pursuing the treasure, the Phantomirage appear!?
Facts (may contain spoilers!):
– This is the first time since their appearances in Miracle Tunes and MagimajoPures to have the heroines make an appearance in their transformed state.
– However, it is unknown as to how Fuka is able to transform as her sound jewel no longer has power.
– According to director Takashi Miike, he stated that he told his staff to not put “special emphasis” just because it’s a movie. He wanted the movie to look like the TV series so children wouldn’t be disappointed when they see something different compared to what is usually seen on the show.
– Scriptwriter Yoichi Kato is a fan of the actor Shingo Yanagisawa, and during the first draft of the movie, he included a character named “Chief Shingo”, making Takashi Miike wonder if Kato wanted him to cast Yanagisawa. Ultimately, the decision was made and Shingo Yanagisawa was cast to play Chief Shingo.
– The movie was filmed as Kadokawa Culture Museum and Tokyo Summerland.
– The movie theatre pamphlet stickers has “Kohana” (in English) written on every member instead of their own individual names.
