The group consists of Kota Yabu, Yuya Takaki, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome, Daiki Arioka, Okamoto Keito, Ryosuke Yamada, and Yuri Chinen. They’re split into two groups by the names of Hey! Say! 7 and Hey! Say! BEST. They made their debut on November 14th, 2007, with their single Ultra Music Power. Former member Ryutaro Morimoto was removed from the group due to an underage smoking scandal. Former member Okamoto Keito left the group to focus mainly as an actor. Former member Yuto Nakajima left the group to focus on his acting career.
