Zero Project profile
Zero Project (ゼロプロジェクト) is a Japanese idol project produced by ORIGAMI. It currently consists of 34 members.
Projects Goals:
A project that aims to promote idols with various values and to bring out the potential of every idol.
Ranking System:
Every idol begins in the Zero5 League. Within a month, they are placed into a group of five girls who are in the same league as them. with this group, they can advance into one of five main leagues. Each league is divided into blocks, usually numbered from 1 to 5. Within each block, idols may be ranked into categories from A to E, with ‘A‘ being the highest.
The higher on the pyramid an idol is, the better their abilities are considered.
Every 3 months an event, called Toryumon (登竜門), is held to determine each idols abilities and to either demote or promote an idol.
Groups:
Groups promoted (also called ascended) to Z1 automatically become an actual idol group.
What is the Kenkyuusei system?:
The kenkyuusei system (Known as Zero Project Kenkyuusei) is a temporary replacement to any team under Z2 while Zero Project reviews their organization. This system was started on August 11, 2025.
It is unknown when they will bring back their other teams.
Group Concepts:
Each group has one of five concepts; Royalty, Neat and Clean, Powerful, Individualistic, or K-Pop.
Each concept has a theme song:
Royalty: zutto, koko ni iruyo. (ずっと、ここにいるよ。)
Neat and Clean: MIRAI
Powerful: Survival
Individualistic: hajimete no supankoru (はじめてのスパンコール)
K-Pop: hebaragichoron (ヘバラギチョロン)

Mabudachu! (Z1-A1)
Concept: Orthodox
Members: POLLIE, Shirosaki Hitomi, Kisaki Riho, Riria, and Misaki Momoka
Z2-A2 (Melody Arrow)
Concept: Neat and Clean
Members: Mochizuki Maria, Kururugi Yun, Kurokawa Nao, Ikeda Haruki, and Mashiro Morutsu
Z2-A4 (KiRARiUM)
Members: Kissme Megu, Lala Cyan, Lamp, Ayano Yuuka, and Minazuki Reine
Z2-A2 (Serein Note)
Concept: “Writing excitement in the sky.”
Members: Sakurai Minami, Natsuki Suzuka, Hoshino Lala, Rio, Hazuki Komomo, and Narucami Canon
Zero Project Kenkyuusei
Members: Yukino Nico, Yumemia Otoha, Aimi Ena, Nakano Miyu, Noa, Yagumo Ritu, Kurata Itoha, Sasaki Miki, Moon, Mia, Yuuki Yuna, and Futaba Yuna
Special Blocks:
Z5-S
A temporary block for members who have been repeatedly late or absent, and to provide a period for them to review their attitude and basic rules. Once an idol gets a better outlook, they will return to their original block.
