MOONCHILD (ムーンチャイルド) is a girl group mainly produced by CDL Entertainment and co-produced by HYBE LABELS JAPAN. The group was made from LDH JAPAN’s survival show iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~‘s girls division, where only 30 girls of 48,000 people made it to the second screening of the girl group category. The group’s lineup consists of Ruan, Uwa, Anri, Hana, and Mirano. This group aims to be the representation of Gen Z and an icon of its time. They released 3 pre-release singles on March 6, 2023, which are all songs that were made for the show, but were recorded with only the members of the group this time: “CHILI CHOCOLATE”, “ONE BITE”, and “Lonely”. They released the first music video “Don’t Blow It! -Japanese ver.-” on April 25, 2023, and officially debuted on May 3, 2023 with the EP Delicious Poison.
