Lee Jung Jae (이정재) is a South Korean actor and model. He is under Artist Company and Creative Artists Agency. He is most known for his roles in The Thieves (2012), Warriors of the Dawn (2017) and Squid Game (2021).

Lee Jung Jae Facts:
– He was born in Jung District, Seoul, South Korea.
– He studied at Dongguk University.
– He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Theater and Film Art.
– He was discovered by designer Ha Yong-soo while he was working at a café in Apgujeong, in the Gangnam District. Ever since he worked as a fashion model.
-He was called up for National Service and was discharged in 1997.
-After serving the military, he enrolled in the Chinese University’s Department of Drama and Film.
-He was announced as a global ambassador for Gucci.
-He directed the movie Hunt.
-He recieved the Geumgwan Order of Cultural Merit from the President Yook Suk Yeol, which is the highest decoration awarded to those who have contributed to culture and arts.
– He launched a chain of upscale Italian restaurants in Seoul named after his movie Il Mare.
– Having studied interior design, he took responsibility for designing the restaurant’s interiors.
– He founded the real estate development company Seorim C&D in 2008.
– He owns several businesses with actor Jung Woo-Sung.
– In May 2016, he and Jung Woo Sung established and became CEOs of their entertainment label called Artist Company.
-He donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association along with Jung Woo Sung to help the victims of the massive wildfire that started in Ujin, Gyeongbuk and has spread to Samcheok, Gagwon.
-They also joined the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a group of major donors with more than 100 million donations.
-In 1999, he was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his BMW into a car in the adjacent line. His blood alcohol content was 0.222%. His driver’s license was revoked. Later in 2002, he got another DUI that led to his license being revoked again.
-In January 2015, he confirmed he was dating Lim Se Ryung.
-He previously dated Kim Min Hee.
