– Birthplace: Seoul, South Korea.

– Born at dawn, Hyojin’s Korean name stands for “Treasure of Dawn”. 효 [Hyo] = (曉 – Dawn) + 진 [Jin ] = (曉珍 – Treasure).
– His nicknames also include “Emotional leader”, “Bambi”, and “General”.
– His serial number, “HJ-422-94”, means Hyojin (HJ) + his birthday (4.22) + his birth year (1994).
– He trained for 5 years before debuting in ONF.
