Daisy (데이지) was a three-member South Korean girl group under Moya Music. The lineup consisted of Youna, Nayoen, and Sookyung. The group debuted on April 12, 2001, with the album Alone. They supposedly disbanded the same year.
Group Name Meaning: The group name “Daisy” means “pure, gentle beauty” and “the best” in a dictionary Nayoen had. The trio chose it because they wanted to be recognized by the public for their musical talent and to become the best in the industry. They also chose the name because they were fans of the 1994 band Daisy, a fusion jazz/pop project formed by Park Gwanghyun, a musician all three members deeply admired.
