Minyeo Samchongsa (미녀 삼총사; literally translating to Three Beauty Musketeers) was a three-member South Korean girl group under Haeun Entertainment. The lineup consisted of Jang Kyunghee, Shim Jinhwa, and Kim Hyungeun. All three members were comedians that led the segment “Minyeo Samchongsa” on SBS’s show People Looking for a Laugh. After stepping down from the show in September 2005, the members dedicated themselves entirely to becoming singers. They released their debut single album 운명 (Fate) on August 18, 2006. The group disbanded shortly after the tragic accident that occurred on December 16, 2006.
Group Name Meaning: They were named after their SBS comedy sketch, which parodied the 2000 movie Charlie’s Angels.

She suffered paralysis from neck nerve damage in a crash and underwent a 9-hour surgery to realign her vertebrae, but damage to her neck blood vessels caused massive bleeding and cardiac arrest. Though CPR briefly restarted her heart, she never regained consciousness. After doctors declared her case hopeless following a second cardiac arrest, her family consented to removing her ventilator, and she passed away on January 10, 2007, around 1:00 AM at Asan Medical Center.
