– Guanyou was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
– He graduated from Chien Fong Junior High School
– Guanyou has danced since he was a child.
– He joined the Taiwanese professional dance studio “Dance Studio”. He was originally a member of the children’s dance troupe Mini DF and participated in many children’s dance competitions. In 2015, he participated in the MTV I Love Idol 4 Minute Dance Competition with the Mini DF dance troupe and won the championship.
–In 2015, when he was active in the Dance Dynasty Studio, he joined The Black Hole, a professional male dance group at the age of 13, becoming the youngest member of the group at that time. He participated in many major dance competitions in Taiwan, and won a lot of them.
– He speaks Korean well.
– In 2016 he was scouted by T.O.P Media where he trained for 3.5 years where he became one of the seven reserve team members of MCND.
– In 2017 while he was still a trainee, he participated in the South Korean dance competition “Feedback” with the reserve team members and won second place in the group category. The team also participated in the world dance competition “World Of Dance” in the same year and won fourth place in the group category.
– In 2020 after training for 3.5 years, he was ultimately not chosen for the debut group and he left the company. He then went back to Taiwan and temporarily rejoined The Black Hole dance group.
– In 2020 went to Mainland China to develop his career, he then signed a contract with Haohan Entertainment and became a member of their Haohan H2 program.
– In 2021 he participated in the survival show Youth With You 3 and debuted in the final group IXFORM (July 29, 2021-November 8, 2022).
– Due to a controversy the rankings were not revealed right away, but after collecting data it was later assumed that he ranked #4.
– His first evaluation in Youth With You he got a B, but during the theme song evaluation he was moved to A.
– During the first ranking he was ranked 84 and in danger of being eliminated. The next 3 rankings he was ranked, 32, 13 and 6.
– He got a lot of attention after the performance of the theme song “We Rock”.
– On May 1, 2021, his official fandom name was announced as “Nai You”(奶柚), and his fandom colors as the early red sun and grapefruit color.
– He has a big circle of friends which includes Chen Yugeng (Boys Planet, YWY3) and Yu Yingtian (PDX101, YWY 3).
– Inside Youth With You he was the closest with Duan Xingxing, where as their CP was quite popular. They apparently had a falling out sometime after IXFORM debuted, but it seems that they have fixed it.
– On November 13, 2023, he released his first solo titled “Umbrella For You”, on December 15, 2023 he released “Youth Thoughts” and on June 20, 2024 he released his third solo titled “Love & Light”
– He has always been remembered for his cute image, but he wants to show that he can also be cool and charismatic.
– He is currently under Image Music.
– He is currently a contestant in Starlight Boys with fellow IXFORM members Duan Xingxing and Sun Yinghao.
