DICE Members Profile and Facts:
DICE (ไดซ์) is a 10-member Thai boy group under SONRAY MUSIC. The group currently consists of former 789TRAINEE contestants who didn’t make it to the final line-up. The members are: Jay, Min, Alex, Apo, Jisang, Obo, Cheese, Maddoc, Otto, and Frame. They debuted on March 19, 2024, with their first digital single, “Mona Lisa”.

– Pre-Debut –
The members of DICE first appeared as contestants on the survival program 789 SURVIVAL, which was produced by 789 AUDITION and formed the boy group BUS (Because of You I Shine). Before the show’s premiere, 789 AUDITION opened auditions on August 15, 2022, for male applicants born between 2001 and 2009 to complete its trainee line-up. Fourteen trainees had already been selected, while the remaining contestants were chosen through the audition process, forming a total of 24 participants.
Although Alex, Apo, Cheese, Frame, Jay, Pech, Jisang, Maddoc, Yuwatanabe, Min, Obo, and Otto were not selected for the final debut line-up, they remained with SONRAY MUSIC and continued training together as members of 789TRAINEE. Pech decided to terminate his contract on December 28, 2023, leaving the company. Two months later, on February 29, 2024, SONRAY MUSIC announced plans to debut a new boy group consisting of the 789TRAINEE members. Yuwatanabe did not participate in the project, deciding to leave the line-up earlier that month.
– Debut –
The official social media accounts of the group were opened on March 1, 2024, confirming their debut date as March 19. On March 16, the title of the debut digital single was revealed to be “Mona Lisa,” which was subsequently released on the scheduled debut date.
Unlike most idol groups, DICE operates under a rotating leadership system, with the role of leader changing periodically as part of the group’s concept. Min served as the group’s first leader from its debut until March 2026, when Jay succeeded him as the second leader.
– Division –
On July 16, 2026, DICE introduced its first sub-unit project by dividing the group’s ten members into two five-member units with different concepts: DICERED and DICEBLUE. At the same time, the group unveiled a new purple visual identity, representing the combination of the blue and red concepts assigned to each unit.
The members of DICEBLUE are Alex, Jay, Jisang, Obo, and Cheese, while DICERED consists of Min, Apo, Maddoc, Otto, and Frame. DICEBLUE became the first unit to debut, releasing the digital single “ลองกอด (smoke)” on July 22, 2026.
