1.0.1 (원오원) was a 6-member dance boy group that debuted on February 14, 1998, with the self-titled first album 1.0.1. The album’s techno house title track Start proposed a message to not feel discouraged and start anew in the IMF era. The team name of 1.0.1 also commemorates the formation of the group on October 1, 1996, as well as the name of the highway connecting the south and the north from California to Mexico. Their debut album consisted of 11 tracks and was the only album to be released.
