CHNCE is an Indonesian independent boy group (formerly UN1TY). The group consists of 4 members: Shandy, Fajri, Zweitson, and Fiki. They announced their rebranding from UN1TY on November 19, 2025, during their joint concert ‘Until Next Time’ with V1RST. The group was formed from the survival show 1ID Music where they were chosen among the 500 trainees that participated. CHNCE continues to carry the strong musical identity, blended vocals, and creative vision that have defined them since their debut as UN1TY on December 9, 2019.
CHNCE Group Name Meaning: Some fans and writers speculate that “CHNCE” might be inspired by the English word “chance”, symbolizing a new opportunity or a second chance after UN1TY disbanded. However, this interpretation is not official and has never been confirmed by the members or their team. In short: the meaning behind the name CHNCE has not been publicly explained, and any interpretation linking it to “chance” remains unofficial.
