One day cool director Piyoshi Kurosawa offers Phantomirage a sparkling big role! That’s right, if this is the case, let’s make everyone’s heart flutter through the movie!
However, Reverse Police’s SakaSama found him! The director who is busy with the shoot is turned into an Ikenaier! With that, the movie will no longer be cool!
Facts: (may contain spoilers!)
– The movie was originally set to be released on May 1, 2020. However, due to COVID-19, the movie was announced to be postponed indefinitely before it was announced that it would released on July 23, 2020.
– This was Yuzuha Oda‘s 3rd appearance in Phantomirage, as well as her 5th appearance (voice only in one episode) in the Girls x Heroine series. This makes her the actress with the most cameos, appearing in 3 seasons and one movie.
– Two versions of the film were released on DVD; a cheering version and a regular theatre version.
– The songs “Chuwapane!”, “Koisuru Kamo -Mirage2 Ver.-“ and “Daijoubu -Mirage2 Ver” were also used in the movie as insert songs.
– At the end of the movie, there were several hints for the next Girls x Heroine series, Lovepatrina!; the Phantomirage were holding items used by Edo period equivalent of modern policemen, three girls appeared that wanted to be heroines (later approached by Sarai) and the meteorite at the end of the movie has a symbol on it which would be used in the next season.
– The three girls previously mentioned turned out to be Lovepatrina characters Tsubasa Aiba, Kohana Aosa and Sora Nanairo.
– The events of the movie happened sometime between Phantomirage Episode 53 and Episode 54.
– Girls2 members Yuzuha, Momoka, Misaki, Youka and Kurea appeared in this movie (Yuzuha was in the show Miracle Tunes! while the other 4 starred in MagimajoPures!).
