Sakura Gakuin Members Profile
Sakura Gakuin (さくら学院), or Cherry Blossom Academy was a Japanese idol girl group under Amuse. They debuted on December 8, 2010 with the single “Yume ni Mukatte / Hello! IVY”, though their live debut was four months prior. The group employed a rotating lineup system, where the oldest members graduated every March and younger members joined the group in May to replace them. The ‘positions’ in the group are modeled after a student council, where each position is in charge of something different and the Student Council President is the leader of the group. There were anywhere from 8 to 12 members at a time. The group disbanded on September 1, 2021.
