poomba21 (품바21) is a South Korean rock band under LOCALHIGH RECORDS consisting of four members: Jo Donghyun, Woo Hyunsoo, Ahn Hagyeom and Jeong Rakhyun. They were formed in 2019 and debuted on April 28, 2023 with the EP 21세기의 품바들 (21st Century Poombas) and the title track “각설이 타령.”
poomba21 Name Meaning: They’re “21st century Poombas” continuing the lineage of Joseon rock. The term “Poomba” in pure Korean indicates a person wandering in a market or the streets while begging for charity. Therefore, as the band’s name suggests, they wander wearing a hanbok and set the stage on fire with excitement
