Naniwa Danshi (なにわ男子) is a Japanese boy group under Starto Entertainment. The group consists of 7 members: Ohashi Kazuya, Fujiwara Joichiro, Nishihata Daigo, Takahashi Kyohei, Onishi Ryusei, Michieda Shunsuke, and Nagao Kento. The group debuted on November 12th, 2021 with the single Ubu Love.
Group Name Meaning: ‘Naniwa’ is a pun on the number 728, Na is for 7 (nana), ni is for 2 (ni) while wa is for 8 (hachi), ‘Naniwa’ is also the old Japanese name for the city of Osaka. ‘Danshi’ means boys.
