Namie Joshihatsu Kumiai (浪江女子発組合), known as JA Namie or Namie Girls for short, is an eight-member Japanese girl group under STAR PLANET (Stardust Promotion) and King Records. The group consists of Ayaka Sasaki, Luna Naito, Kana Harima, Saho Tanaka, Mia Yuduki, Moana Chihama, Nanoha Aoyama, and Rina. They made their stage debut on November 24, 2019 at the Reconstruction of Namie Town Tokaichi Festival.
Group Name Meaning: The group’s name means “Namie Women’s Association.” The group is based in Namie, Fukushima Prefecture, and was formed eight years after Namie was devastated by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The group aims to bring smiles to the townspeople of Namie and spread Namie to the rest of Japan.
