Ishihara Takamasa (石原崇雅), professionally known as MIYAVI (雅), is a Japanese guitarist, singer-songwriter, record producer, actor, and philanthropist. Renowned for his distinctive finger-slapping guitar playing style, MIYAVI first gained recognition as a member of the visual kei rock band Dué le quartz. In 2002, MIYAVI launched his solo career, and by 2007, he had joined the rock supergroup S.K.I.N. In 2009, he established his own company, J-glam.
