Black Diamond Profile and Facts
Black Diamond is a gyaru circle based in Japan. They were formed in July of 2012 and have over 130 members. They released their 2 singles on April 23, 2014 titled “AVANT GYARUDE” and “CRAZY TRIBE” featuring Hayato.
Author Note: Since there are so many members in this group, and I can’t really find all of them, I’ve decided to write facts about the group instead. I hope this is alright!

Black Diamond Facts:
– They had a sub-unit “Black Diamond -from 2000-” who were active from 2018-2021.
– They are often referred to as the “Top Gal Unit”.
– They have a complex system within the members where each district has its own leader.
– The circle previously had members throughout all 47 prefectures in Japan, however they later added international gyaru too.
– In fact, over 50 members are from 20 different countries.
– They have performed overseas as well.
– They opened a cafe in January of 2015 named “Ganguro Cafe“, where you can get food and drinks and meet the gals.
– In this cafe, they often dance para para (a popular gyaru dance) and sometimes sing for customers.
– For a small fee, you could also have a “complete Gyaru makeover” where the girls would style you in their typical Kuro Gal style.
– The cafe is a popular tourist spot and the girls promise a “crazy experience”.
– The cafe closed its doors on July 18, 2018 after 3 years of service. However, it seems that it re-opened as there are posts from 2020 on their Facebook page talking about events in the cafe.
– Several members can speak English.
