Rosy Chronicle (ロージークロニクル) is an upcoming 9-member Japanese girl group under Hello! Project. The group consists of: Hashida Honoka, Yoshida Hinoha, Onoda Karin, Murakoshi Ayana, Uemura Hasumi, Matsubara Yulia, Shimakawa Hana, Kamimura Rena and Soma Yume. The group’s formation was officially announced on June 16, 2024.
Group Name Meaning: The name Rosy Chronicle (ロージークロニクル) comes from the words “Rosy” (ロージー) and “Chronicle” (クロニクル). “Rosy” means “rosy”, “full of hope”, and “full of happiness”, and “Chronicle” means “chronicle,” a history book that chronicles events year by year. Therefore, the combined name of Rosy Chronicle is derived from the hope that the history of Rosy will be passed down from generation to generation.
