That's good you have some experience with singing since you were a soprano 2, I would believe you were an alto one because soprano 2 and alto 1 have the most similar pitches so choose one within that range for example some k-pop songs are most commonly boy groups and some lower toned female groups.
YES I'm pretty sure that was the one. Ahh okok !! so like one thing I've been overthinking is what happens after ? Like if you do get accepted and become a trainee but what if you don't get to debut ? where do you go from there ??

That’s a totally normal thing to worry about! But honestly, being a JYP trainee is like having a degree from Harvard. Even if you don't debut there, other companies will be lining up to sign you because they know you’ve had the best training in the world.
Also, as of 2026, there are new laws in Korea that protect trainees. You’re required to stay in school, so you’ll still have your education. If you don't debut, you can:
  1. Join a different company (a lot of idols do this and become even more famous!).
  2. Switch to acting or modeling.
  3. Go back to a 'normal' life with a really cool experience on your resume.
Most people who leave JYP end up debuting somewhere else or becoming successful in the industry in other ways. Don't let the 'what if' stop you from trying

Thx but I’m kinda scared bc I’m not that pretty for a visual and I’m bad at vocals so rapping would be my only strength
I'm sure ur gorgeous don't put urself down like that and lots of the biggest idols are rapping plus if were to become a trainee they would train you in vocals no matter how bad u r

I mean technically yes but really no. It was mostly a long email about why I wanted to join the company and that I was literally begging for any position they'd give me even acting work lol. I never sent pictures or videos or anything so nothing ever came out of it, just embarrassing but a good laugh lmao

Rly? I’m not that pretty, and bad a dancing, do u have like any tips?
Stop putting yourself down like that.
For JYP, keep these 3 tips in mind:
  • Character First: JYP prioritizes 'Honesty, Diligence, and Humility.' Be polite and show a hardworking attitude.
  • The 'Natural' Look: Wear simple clothes (like a white tee and jeans) and minimal makeup. They want to see your 'blank canvas' visuals.
  • Feel the Rhythm: They care more about your 'groove' and potential than perfect technical skill.
Stay confident and good luck! Fighting!

Hey, it's not embarrassing! The fact that you were brave enough to do that and put yourself out there is amazing, it's not easy to do that and I agree with the laugh part it's good that you can get a laugh out of it.

I did hybe now I wanna change 😔
That's understandable! However, I know bang si hyuk is going through some insider scandal right now but the sub labels of HYBE are run by different CEOs not just Bang Si Hyuk who is currently chairmen and stepped down from CEO and if I may ask which one of HYBE did you audition for?
