Okay a rant (idk if this is even unpopular but it’s something that needs to be said. Mainly @ Twitter stans)

some kpop stans need to remember that OPINIONS ARE ALLOWED. People get way to gatekeeper-y over their groups.
I stan ONE group because I feel invalid stanning multiple because fandoms will act like if you don’t know everything from their favourite colour to the exact outfit they wore on a certain date that you’re an invalid stan (maybe an over exaggeration but then again maybe not).
Furthermore people are allowed to have dislikes about their own faves! I’ve seen people getting cancelled for holding their faves accountable for situations, or being shunned because they don’t like a song their faves released. I myself have forced myself to listen to songs I don’t particularly love simply because a group I like sung it. And I know people who are terrified to be honest about songs they don’t like or members they like less because they’re scared they’ll be seen as less of a fan.
And tbh just having an opinion in general is terrifying sometimes. I myself have a lot of contrasting opinions to ones I see often, yet I just avoid talking about the opinions because I don’t want to receive a negative response to my opinions.
Apparently second gen stans used to be so much more chill than that and I wouldn’t know but god I wish everything was just more chill

as a person who stans second gen groups i must agree that it is much more peaceful, except for that whole snsd black hole back in the day

also i love so many groups but i def dont know ton about them, except pentagon my ult. i feel bad bc i feel like people are gonna be like : well you're not a true stan!!

Literally. I was absolutely devastated with Elkie’s news meanwhile Moomoo stan twt was kicking off about something pretty minor compared to what was going on and I actually got really mad

I think being attracted to a group and wanting to try and stan because one member is attractive is ok but if you listen to them and don't really like it you can keep supporting that one single member as a soloist/actor

I don't understand why Big Hit debuted Enhypen so soon after TXT.
I know that Enhypen is under a subsidiary of Big Hit and TXT is purely under the company, but it just doesn't make sense.
Big Hit is just creating more competition for TXT. They barely gave them a year before debuting another group.
I feel like it will only be one of these groups that gains immense popularity. And they other will just be like decently popular.
I think it was a poor choice of marketing and timing by Big Hit.
At least the other big 3 companies give a 3-4 year gap between debuting groups of the same gender.
They should have debuted a girl group rather than 2 boy groups back to back.
Big Hit probably only thinks they can be successful with a boy group or something.
*No hate to Enhypen or TXT, it's not their fault or anything.*

I honestly think some groups are just overhyped. Or maybe their songs are just overplayed idk.
For example: BTS's dynamite, I really loved the song when it came out but then it was in almost EVERY 2020 kpop playlist and I kinda got sick of it. Same with Blue Hour but for a kinda different reason. I prolly did it to myself and listened to it too much from streaming.
This is the main reason I stan less known groups.

I really don't think Jungkook's hand tattoo looks good. I know it's supposed to have symbolism, but it's just poorly done. The placement isn't great either.
His sleeve looks amazing tho
