I'm so gonna get attacked for this....

Opinion 1: I dislike western songs so much, for an example BTS's "Dynamite" or even "Boy with luv" that kind of music just annoys me a lot since it is usually overplayed.

Opinion 2: Companies can ruin groups, a group that comes to mind is CUBE's "CLC" I feel like they treated them poorly since they have a bigger group (G)I-DLE now.

Opinion 3: Most B-Sides are better than title tracks, as an example I love the b-sides on Itzy's album "ItZ me" more than the title track "Wannabe"

talent should come before looks. there are some cases where looks are sometimes chosen over talent, but still. i would much rather stan somebody with talent who doesn't have standard visuals than somebody who fits the beauty standard but doesn't have talent.

Really agree with this one.
It especially pisses me off when an idol is praised more for their vocal/rap/dance talent than another because they are prettier. Especially when for example the visual member is like a sub vocal and the "ugly" one is a main vocal. Shout out to Chen!
Sure all idols should be praised for their talents, but it's ridiculous when others who are truly truly talented get nothing because they aren't as pretty.

Ok so this what I've been thinking of recently

1. BTS have lost their relate-ability for me
Now I am an army but recently I've been thinking how BTS are just so successful and massive that I don't feel the connection with them like I used to. No doubt they all live luxurious lifestyles and I'm not saying they don't have any challenges in their lives anymore of course but I can't relate to them because they no longer have that struggle anymore. They don't need too frequently post on twitter to keep fans interested or need to do heaps of promotion to win award. I will always support them but I feel more connected to smaller groups that have yet to reach their peak because just like them I am also striving for success. I'm not really sure if this makes sense, just something I've been pondering lately.

2. WayV music is way better than NCT (127, Dream and U)
This might be a little rude but I seriously don't understand how some people like some of the NCT music. Like Cherry Bomb, Punch, Make a Wish just suck. I don't hate all of NCT's music but WayV's music is so much better in my opinion.

3. I don't understand what's the big deal around Mark Lee
I obviously don't hate Mark, when I was learning more and more about NCT I am still wondering why everyone makes such a big deal about Mark. In my opinion his rapping and dancing is pretty average in the kpop scene and honestly I find his personality at times a little irritating. The only thing I could think about is his amazing work ethic because omg being in so many different sub units cannot be easy.

Some fans get way too “woe is my group” over the smallest things.
Fans of these massive groups (not targeting any specific fandom. I’ve seen it everywhere) will be absolutely enraged by the smallest instance of company drama, while there are groups out there being full on neglected and mistreated.

I’m not trying to invalidate any group/idol’s struggles as everyone has their own individual struggles. But sometimes fans need to chill and realise that their faves could have it a lot LOT worse

thats what really annoys me, like im out here stanning groups like clc and pentagon and pristin and gugudan and, especially b.a.p, we all know what happened with them. You're upset because your idol didn't get enough screen time? Try getting a slave contract and getting paid almost nothing.

Literally. I was absolutely devastated with Elkie’s news meanwhile Moomoo stan twt was kicking off about something pretty minor compared to what was going on and I actually got really mad

My opinions, regardless of how popular/unpopular they are:

1. Some people really need to understand that K-pop polls don't really mean much. So what if a member's at the bottom? Vote for your bias and move on
2. Although very rare, I think a member can be a main vocalist AND main rapper at the same time, especially if they're the best in those fields out of the entire group. They just need to make sure it's balanced so that member won't take up too much lines.

Most polls (ie the ones on kprofiles) allow people to vote as many times as they want. So they can mass vote for their bias

Okay a rant (idk if this is even unpopular but it’s something that needs to be said. Mainly @ Twitter stans)

some kpop stans need to remember that OPINIONS ARE ALLOWED. People get way to gatekeeper-y over their groups.
I stan ONE group because I feel invalid stanning multiple because fandoms will act like if you don’t know everything from their favourite colour to the exact outfit they wore on a certain date that you’re an invalid stan (maybe an over exaggeration but then again maybe not).
Furthermore people are allowed to have dislikes about their own faves! I’ve seen people getting cancelled for holding their faves accountable for situations, or being shunned because they don’t like a song their faves released. I myself have forced myself to listen to songs I don’t particularly love simply because a group I like sung it. And I know people who are terrified to be honest about songs they don’t like or members they like less because they’re scared they’ll be seen as less of a fan.
And tbh just having an opinion in general is terrifying sometimes. I myself have a lot of contrasting opinions to ones I see often, yet I just avoid talking about the opinions because I don’t want to receive a negative response to my opinions.
Apparently second gen stans used to be so much more chill than that and I wouldn’t know but god I wish everything was just more chill

Really agree with this. I'm scared to share some of my opinions even on here.
And I've encountered so many stans believing they are superior because they had stanned a group longer than me.
It doesn't matter. As long as you love them now.

BTS didn’t pave the way as most Army’s like to say.
I think this is somewhat true.... I think BTS had a huge impact on kpop becoming big but it wasn’t just them and I think it also depends what country your from. I can see people getting mad at that but they shouldn’t it’s your own opinion and we don’t have solid evidence/proof to say your wrong or right 🙃

Okay now people please don’t hate on me for this and like no I don’t condone with s**ual a***ult or harr***ment in any way butttt
I don’t think Woojin deserves the hate he still gets.... I mean I don’t like him.... but the fact of the whole situation that went around just went around at the wrong time... Not only that but now we have solid proof that he is in a real company and I think we should kind let what happened go (not exactly let it go but stop bashing on him for it)... but if something like that happens again I think that’s when things should be a bit more idk how to say it.... we should be more wary if it happens again. Also about the fake company tweet thing I think people took it kinda to far... like yes it did sound like him but no one took into consideration that maybe he made his own company and that’s why?? I also think it was way to put together to even be a coincidence... like the tweet about what happened comes out then multiple other idols are brought into it and then Stray Kids is bashed on for it? Not only that but when he was kicked out of the group it could have been multiple reasons why... like I know newly debuted groups have a 2 year dating ban and that could have been the reason why....
Not only that but let’s say if V had been kicked out of BTS (just 4 example) and then a year later a har***ment tweet goes around u don’t think he would have gotten as much hate for it...

I don’t really know and don’t forget it’s my opinion + I don’t like Woojin at all and am not a stan of him + I don’t condone with s**ual a***ult or har***ment just what I think.....
