The case of Romanov, the royal Russian family who got murdered back in 1918.
The youngest son and heir to the throne Alexei was haemophiliac (to explain it in few words even a small wound could cause him severe damage due to excessive bleeding) and Grigori Rasputin was his spiritual healer, even from long distance he had the ability to take away his pain when even certified physicians couldn't help him. That's right. Actually there were many people claiming to be members of the Romanov family through the years but Anastasia impersonators were the most popular. And yeah unfortunately in reality none of the children survived. 20th Century Fox adaption of Anastasia is one of my favorite movies but most of it is fiction compared to the true events.

Yeah, I believe she was one of the most famous impersonators. Even Anastasia's grandmother herself said in private said that she wasn't sure what to believe.

I think one of the Russian churches has two of the children’s bodies in storage, not with/near the other family members, which makes me sad

The Black Dahlia case is so interesting to me, just cause I had (still do) a phase where I wanted to be a crime investigator. I’m so glad you brought that case up though

i'm still intrigued by the case of the lost colony of roanoke. they lost contact with england, and when they sent ppl over to check it out, everybody was gone. it was like they had just disappeared. to this day, nobody knows where they went. there's no remains, no grave sites, nothing. they're just gone.
