Not only Wendy, but all of the idols struggled to perform comfortably. Twice and Chungha said that they felt unsafe during rehearsals as the stage was shaky and multiple idols like BTS Jin, ITZY Yeji, NCT Taeyong and more were slipping on stages. Sarang (the little girl) has also tripped while practising on stage. Mamamoo Solar fell down on red carpet.

This is awful, the fact that it could have easily been prevented makes me so angry. It's beyond me how something like this could happen at such a big broadcasting station. And then they apologised but not to Wendy and other idols for their incompetence, they only apologised to fans because Wendy couldn't perform?? If SM don't sue them i hope they at least blacklist them. She apparently has bruises on the whole body on the right size and cracks in her cheekbone as well.. Just imagining it makes my heart hurts. I hope she will recover well and fast and receive the justice she deserves.

If that picture at the top is where she fell from, there's no way that's 4-5m, it's more like 2 to 2.5m as was originally reported, depending on the height of the person on the steps in the image (obviously that's just me judging by eye, but as long as the perspective isn't too forced, it's not a hard call to make).

Regardless, that's still a long way to fall, and yes, she could have been injured far more severely than she was (even fatally), which was bad enough. I seem to be hearing about nothing but dodgy practices and corner-cutting from SBS lately; it's a wonder they're still in business. I definitely feel like SM should be hitting them with some kind of a lawsuit...

The height varies from 2 to 4 from different sources and I don't know what to put now (I also can't even edit it now). But thanks for input! I also hope that SM files a lawsuit, because they almost lost their idol and that's something they should care about

I read that the estimated time for Wendy's full recovery would be several months. I can't believe they let this happen to Wendy and other idols. They need to up their safety standards and rebuild the whole stage if they have to, this should never happen again.
