Starship responds to rumors of Shownu’s affair with a married woman

After the news of Wonho’s departure from Monsta X, Starship has released a statement regarding Shownu’s alleged affair with a married woman.

On October 31, Han Seo Hee posted screenshots of direct messages received from Jung Da Eun, who previously made rumors about former member Wonho, from a man who claimed his wife was cheating on him with Shownu.

The screenshots were text messages from Starships Legal Rep, which stated that Shownu had been in contact with the man’s wife a few months ago, but did not know she was married as the woman never told him that she was.

Shownu said he cut off contact with her after finding out she was married as he did not “want to come between a married couple”.

Damn, so that’s all it takes to hook up with an idol? I’m kidding, but damn, that really does suck

I honestly have nothing to say regarding this.. I mean Shownu doesn’t deserve all of this shit being exposed about him, people like those two need to get a life and to stop spreading shit about other idols just to ruin their image and their lives

im starting to get pissed with this han seohee, she has been arrested for drug and legal issues and has caused controversies among other idols and actors (ex. cha eunwoo from astro) but ppl still believe her and hate on the idol/actor victims?? sickening.

He stopped as soon as he found out she was married, so this shouldn't cause another idol leaving I hope, but I also know it's a different culture in Korea than what I'm used to, so maybe it is a big deal? the moment she caused an outrage with wonho "owning" her friend more than $3k, Starship Ent. started to take legal action against her, so she's almost there

She doesn't hate MX alone, its just that Han Seohee likes to cause scandals with korean idols and actors in general, doesn't matter who they are.

for example,
-She targeted T.O.P from bigbang, just ranting about how unhappy she was with him
-she mocked the actor Ryu Joonyeol
-she tried to make a move on Cha Eunwoo from astro
-she labeled the actor Kang Hyukmin as a 'rapist in training', so he sued her and her followers
-she made a big deal and exaggerated over NCT's taeyongs dating scandal
-she tried to involve herself in B.I.'s drug scandal
-she stated she met V from BTS at a club
etc. etc. etc. etc.
