Fictional Kpop News LABYRINTH has marked another record! The YouTube views for LABYRINTH's debut music video, 'BOCA' surpassed 4.9 million views in the first 24 hours making it their second achievement after their pre-orders exceeded 90,000 copies milestone. Congratulations to the group! In the meantime, LABYRINTH will be performing 'BOCA' at MBC's Music Core today for the third day of promotions.

I took some time to think about whether this series should be posted in this debut thread because the previous two chapters of the Creator's Thoughts series were posted in the Mitsu Entertainment company thread. (If you haven't checked it out yet, here is the thread. It's on the second page) Since this time's chapter is dedicated to the LABYRINTH's debut, I'll be discussing it here.
Straight to the point, this time the 3rd chapter is about the songs in LABYRINTH's debut album.
1. Fairytale
Originally by Dreamcatcher, 'Fairytale' is a satisfying song that follows rock tradition and has quite a retro melody. I chose this song to be in the debut album because Fairytale sounds like LABYRINTH's strong will to move on despite the sacrifices and sad memories they have come across. I think the line "Follow your heart" in the chorus perfectly makes parallels to the girls' goal to get out of the labyrinth or to help the ones who are going to become prey to the Minotaur according to their lore. (I'll make another post about their lore so it'll be clear) Long story short, they are substituting dark horror for a fairytale so they won't feel fear anymore.
2. BOCA*
I've already discussed about the title track in the debut FikLive so I won't be going into detailed information. Just as what Dreamcatcher portrays in the mv, BOCA expresses the frustration of having to watch the innocent going through traumatic situations. With relevance to LABYRINTH's lore, they show their urge to protect them as they have already learnt about the darkness inside the labyrinth.
3. ESCAPE
Just looking at the title, makes it clear of its meaning to LABYRINTH. The first two verses talk about "darkness" but if the addressee smiles, that same darkness will fade away. When I first picked the songs and went through the English lyrics I felt that this song kind of sounded like what the elder sisters of LABYRINTH would say to the younger ones who are completely afraid of their unknown fate.
"I have to take responsibility for the reality and future life" Fate, in the sense, I meant their fate in the lore.
They won't be enduring it alone, instead, they will be holding each other's hand and being there for each other.
4. BE HONEST
The sole reason why I picked this is that when every song talks about darkness it'll get boring and there won't be any fun and joy in it. The refreshingness in the melody and lyrics gives a feeling of upbeat to the album.
5. HERE WE ARE
Here's another song that highlights the unity and love of the group. With a tranquil intro, the song expresses the heart of wanting to go to a place where it was beautiful. With relevance to LABYRINTH's lore, it should be the time when they spent their time as princesses happily. Although they have decided to move on, they are still unable to forget their beautiful past. This song is from Gfriend's one of mini albums, "LABYRINTH". If you know you know lol

Fictional Kpop News LABYRINTH goes viral for their live vocals!
The group performed 'BOCA' today on Inkigayo as the fourth day of promotions since the debut. A clean MR-removed video of today's live performance has been uploaded by a fan to YouTube and LABYRINTH is trending everywhere for their stable and smooth vocals when the choreography is tough and difficult. All the members are receiving praise from fans and especially the group's main vocalist, Jinsol is going viral for her high note in the final verse which sounds exactly like the studio version.

Creator's note: Tbh, I got goosebumps watching this video, especially when Siyeon sings that high note when I was searching video clips for Labyrinth content. Dreamcatcher is so underrated and they deserve more recognition and love! I hope sharing their content at least like this will help to some extent cause I haven't seen many talking about them in the forums.
LABYRINTH is kind of like Dreamcatcher's sister group in the fictional kpop world.

Fictional Kpop News LABYRINTH TAKES 1ST EVER MUSIC SHOW WIN WITH 'BOCA' ON THE SHOW
LABYRINTH has already won their first music show trophy! Mitsu Entertainment’s first girl group LABYRINTH made their debut only a week ago with “BOCA,” and on the February 21st episode of The Show, their song was nominated for first place.
The members thanked their agency CEO Park Yihyun, fans, staff members, parents, and more for the honour.
“Thank you so much to our fans!”, the group said.

The rookie group 'LABYRINTH' concluded their debut promotions successfully after a week after their debut by collecting several achievements as a newly debuted group. The total achievements they received include: - Pre-orders for albums exceeded 90,000 copies
- The debut album's title track 'BOCA' surpassed 4.9 million views within the first 24 hours from its release
- First two music show wins on 'The Show' and 'Show Champion'
In the meantime, the YouTube views for 'BOCA' has currently surpassed 47 million views (just pretend, okay?) and the album orders for their debut album 'LABYRINTHUS' has surpassed 100,000 copies.
The group has been trending worldwide for their "monster rookie" vibes and the interesting concept they showcase in their music and lore, and fans are excited about what they will bring in their upcoming comebacks.
