In Mid-July, midoriko went on another hiatus due to her worsening chronic illness. Unlike the previous year, it was stated that she would continue to participate in recordings and filming when possible, only being absent from live events.

HOW HIGH? is ExWHYZ's first mini-album. It was released on October 18th, 2023 in multiple editions; Regular (CD-Only), CD+DVD, and Limited (CD, Blu-Ray and Photobook). Prior to its general release date, the album received a surprised digital pre-release on October 8th.

Despite being on hiatus and missing most promotions, midoriko still features on the album.
