BTS received two awards at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards!
The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards took place on August 26 at 8 p.m. ET, and BTS was announced as the winner of the Best Group award as well as the Best K-pop award for their song “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey. Both the Best Group and Best K-pop categories were newly created this year, making BTS the first-ever winner of the awards.
BTS was not present at the ceremony, as they are currently having their official period of rest.
