Baek Yerin from 15& has left JYP Entertainment after spending 12 years being in that company. She came to post about it on instagram, revealing that she had a great time with the company within the last 12 years as well as thanking of what Park Jin Young (CEO) had done for her.
“Hello, it’s Baek Yerin!
The weather has suddenly become much cooler. How have you all been?
Unfortunately, on September 14, my contract with JYP Entertainment will end.
Ever since I was in elementary school, I have spent 12 years with JYP Entertainment and worked hard. I have received so many wonderful and precious opportunities, and I’ve been taught so much, it’s all been a gift, even though I am still lacking. I would sincerely like to thank all of the staff at JYP, the president of JYP, who sometimes would be like a parent, sometimes like a teacher, or a guardian. You have worked so hard for me. And also Park Jin Young. We have decided now that we would be each other’s best friends. I’m going to be starting my own independent label with the help of my friends around me. I feel regretful and sad since we spent so much time together, and it is scary to start something by myself. However, I want to gain strength and give you all a lot of good music!
I’ll be Yerin who shows a better image of myself in the future.
