2020 K-pop predictions?

Here are mine:

• BTS will grow even more in popularity with 2 comebacks and a tour. 2020 will be the year they reach their peak. Suga will release a mixtape
• Twice will have 2 comebacks, with mature/elegant concept. Mina will be back
• Itzy will have 2 successful comebacks and also make their japanese debut
• Blackpink will have a comeback with a mini album in the first half of the year and will release a single (maybe a collab like kiss and make up) in the second half
• Red velvet will have one red concept comeback for summer then go on hiatus after smngg debuts
• SuperM will fade out like it never even happened
• Loona has 2 comebacks. The first one will be in january-february. The title track will be a darker upbeat song with a powerful choreo and it will bring them their first win. The second one will be in the summer, it'll have a brighter mood. Then towards the end of the year there will be one more release (but not a comeback). Jinsoul will also release a song.
• Dreamcatcher and fromis_9 will get their first win too
• Sunmi releases an album, either mini or full

I really hope Dreamcatcher and Loona get their first wins, they're two of the most deserving groups. I hope (moreso than predict) that the idols who have been having mental health problems get the help they need and then they can either come back to being an idol if they want to, or they leave completely and focus on themselves.

I agree, like the other groups deserve a chance to get the awards too, even the ones that BTS has already won. No offence to BTS though.

Some of these may be either controversial or very bold it just is my gut feeling
- BLACKPINK has 1 comeback which is slightly less popular than their last due to fan decline and scandals
- BTS slightly dips popularity due to enlistment(s) but doesn’t affect much, they keep winning awards
- Twice - Mina will be back and happier than before,they will have 2 comebacks and potentially dominate with one or the other and win a daesang.
- got7 - 1 comeback maybe , everyone is busy with solo careers, they will continue to grow slowly but steadily
- EXO more enlistments and I believe they will drop quite significantly in popularity, more enlistments but Xiumin and D.O will be back
- Itzy - make or break comeback due to controversial style, debut in japan
- TXT will win many awards and grow and debut in japan
- Chungha, will grow ever more, gaining more fans with each comeback but I feel she will have a scandal which will affect her mental health
- Mamamoo nothing big will happen just 2-3 comebacks but will stay as they are now, solar will get a solo
- stray kids - big year for them, big comeback in the first half of the year and a tour
- red velvet, will finally get a well deserved record breaking comeback after lots of experimental comebacks during the reveluv series
- SNSD will disband
- G( IDLE) will gain a big fan base overseas but decline in Korea due to scandals and incidents
- MOMOLAND is make or break at this point, they need another bboom bboom popularity like comeback or they face big threats

- treasure 13 will debut
- superM disbands

I actually think Twice might do a cute concept this year? Then maybe more of an elegant concept.
Dreamcatcher will surge in popularity.
I also hope ATEEZ will blow up in popularity
Blackpink will be hyped again but disappoint to most
SNSD and iKON might disband
